Superstar Akshay Kumar starrer ‘BellBottom’ trailer was dropped on Tuesday. He is playing an agent in Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The spy thriller, set in the 1980s, will be released in theatres on August 19.
In the three-and-a-half-minute trailer, Akshay’s character is depicted as a star undercover agent known as ‘Bellbottom’. He is brought in to perform a rescue operation after a plane is hijacked and lands in Amritsar, the seventh hijacking incident in five years. Akshay’s character devises a daring covert operation to free 210 hostages and eliminate four hijackers.
In the movie, Vaani Kapoor will be playing his wife and Huma Qureshi will be seen as one of Akshay’s team members.
Akshay’s character is seen saying, “Sir, shayad aisa ho ki sab ko lage ki mission fail ho gayi. Bas aap itna yaad rakhna (there might be a situation where everyone thinks that the mission has failed. But please remember), it’s not over till it’s over.”
The trailer has sure got the audience thrilled as they wait for the film to be released.
Akshay Kumar also took to his Instagram to share his announcement for the trailer launch, he wrote, “As you can see, @_vaanikapoor_ and I are super excited for the #BellBottom trailer arriving today. Are you?”
‘BellBettom’ is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and will be releasing in theatres in the 2D and 3D formats on August 19.
