We haven’t heard anything about the eagerly awaited blockbuster Barbie in a while. Thus, now is the ideal moment to check out the vibrant character posters for the forthcoming film. Today, Warner Bros. went all out and bombarded the Twitter timeline with a massive slate of 24 character posters, showcasing the all-star cast and giving each character an introduction with a few jokes tossed in.

The diversity of the Barbies that will be included in the film is highlighted in the first round of posters. These posters demonstrate exactly how far the film is ready to go in order to deliver a story that can surprise us in every way. We knew from the first trailer that Barbie would appear in the film in numerous forms. We find it difficult to comprehend how so many Barbies are performed by so many wonderful people.

Every Barbie is a star in the poster. In addition to Margot Robbie, who will play the title role in the film, Issa Rae (president Barbie), Kate McKinnon (gymnast Barbie), Nicola Coughlan (diplomat Barbie), Alexandra Shipp (writer Barbie), Ritu Arya (journalist Barbie), Hari Nef (doctor Barbie), Emma Mackey (physicist Barbie), Dua Lipa (mermaid Barbie), Ana Cruz Kayne (judge Barbie), and Sharon Rooney (lawyer Barbie).

The plot also has place for the Kens and humans, which are two other casts of characters who each have their own posters. As you move through them, that’s where the one-liners get funnier and funnier: First, Ryan Gosling is shown as Ken, and then the subsequent Kens (Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Scott Evans) are announced as “another Ken,” “Ken again,” and “he’s Ken too,” until we get to Michael Cera’s character, who is labeled as “there’s only one Alan.”

The human figures are also introduced in the poster collection. Barbie will be a story about the well-known doll as well as about its creation and all the commercial and artistic choices that went into it, as the teaser clearly made clear. Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Helen Mirren (who serves as the narrator), Connor Swindells, and Jamie Demetriou make up the human ensemble. Also, each of them has a joke on their poster.

Greta Gerwig is the film’s director and co-wrote the script with Noah Baumbach. The world is interested to see what they came up with when approaching a massive blockbuster about one of the most well-known products in the world because both of them are well-known figures in the indie film scene. To find out if the Barbie world on the big screen is plastic and/or great, though, we’ll need to wait a little while. Barbie premieres in theaters on July, 21.
