Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri starrer Bad Newz continued its impressive run at the box office as it touched the mark of Rs. 50 crore on its ninth day.
The film managed to maintain its grip on the box office over its second weekend, despite the release of the big budget Marvel movie ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ that features Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman return with their iconic roles.
Despite the stiff competition with the new release, the movie managed to bag Rs. 2.15 crores on Friday and witnessed minimal growth on Saturday as the collections hits raised by Rs. 3.25 crore.
Bad Newz, which also stars Ammy Virk, experienced a pretty strong first week, with collections reported to be around Rs. 42.85 crore net, the total India net collection for ‘Bad Newz’ now stands at Rs. 48.25 crore nett.
The film’s gross collections, however, pushed the overall collections to an estimated Rs. 53.5 crore.
