The creators of Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan’s Satyaprem Ki Katha officially confirmed on Sunday that the popular song Pasoori by Pakistani singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill will be reproduced in the next film. Because of its visual appeal, beautiful music, and soulful lyrics, the original song became a music sensation. It will be launched in 2022.
Kartik revealed the complete video of Pasoori Nu on Monday, only a few days before Satyaprem Ki Katha reaches theatres.
He wrote, “Aadha hai Dil mera..Poora Tujhse Hove 🤍Feel The Magic of Love with Arijit’s Midas Touch.”
Kartik and Kiara are seen wearing similar attire in the song. In the song, they also show off their sizzling chemistry.
Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar sing the remade version of the global song Pasoori.
After various photographs and videos of the principal actors from the song shoot in Mumbai went viral, it was announced a few days ago that Satyaprem Ki Katha will feature a recreated version of Pasoori.
The revelation, however, did not sit well with some social media users, who lambasted the makers of Satyaprem Ki Katha. While some argue that the song does not need to be recreated, others accuse Indian artists of ‘disrespecting’ Pakistani artists.
So far, the creators of Satyaprem Ki Katha have released several tracks. Naseeb Se, Aaj Ke Baad, Gujju Pataka, and Sun Sajni are among them.
The teaser depicts Kartik’s character, Satyaprem, a virgin from Gujarati origins. He is desperate to marry and meets his true love in Kiara’s character, Katha. The title refers to the main protagonists and their love story.
The film, directed by Sameer Vidhwans, will be released in theatres on June 29.
Kartik will be seen romancing Kiara Advani in the flick. The film is the actor’s second cooperation following the smash ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in 2022.
The film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania.
