Baja Bawra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new project, got fans buzzing over the trio casting: Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. However, Sanjay accused the reporters for giving out fake news. “These rumours are said to be completely baseless and untrue as the ace filmmaker is currently busy with the shoot of his much anticipated next – Gangubai Kathiawadi,” according to a Times of India report. Baja Bawra is a plot revolving around the protagonists Tansen and Baiju.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also busy with his project “Gangubai Kathiawadi” with Alia Bhatt. Unfortunately, its release is now postponed given the complications that have arisen with the pandemic. Shooting and work for this movie started at the Mumbai based studio. Sanjay is all game for this film and has been hitting hard for the past seven months before Alia came in. She plays a brothel owner. She seems really excited about the role. Given it’s her first project with Sanjay, it shouldn’t come off as a surprise. Earlier, she missed a chance with the director for a casting with Salman Khan. Unfortunately, that film got shelved. Sanjay has also worked with Ranbir Kapoor at Saawariya’s set which premiered in 2007.
