Ajay Devgn’s epic clash: Singham Again and Raid 2 set to battle at Box Office? Here’s what we know

According to sources, the release date of Rohit Shetty’s directed film ‘Singham Again’ has been postponed. It was originally planned to hit theatres on August 15.

Singham Again is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, was originally intended to be released on August 15 and would compete with another blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. However, in order to avoid the clash, the creators of Singham Again have chosen to move the film’s release date.

Today, May 18, 2024, it was confirmed that Singham Again will now be released in theatres on November 15. However, it should be noted that Ajay Devgn’s other major picture, Raid 2, is set to release on the same day.

Will it be ‘Ajay Devgn Vs. Ajay Devgn’ at the box office this year, or will the producers of Raid 2 now change their release date? Only time will tell.

Taran Adarsh, a film critic, published the news on social media with a new poster from the film, including police headgear, a belt, and a gun. The tweet has now been deleted. Check out the now-deleted poster below:

Singham Again

Arjun Kapoor, who will play the adversary in Singham Again, finished filming a few days ago. He posted a photo with Rohit Shetty and commented, “Rohit Shetty ke cop universe ka villain!!! I have wrapped up my work on ‘Singham Again’!!! My 20th film and one of the biggest milestones of my career with a director who is the boss of MASS CINEM!!!” Expressing his happiness for being part of the ‘most entertaining franchises’, he added, ”I feel blessed to be a part of one of the most entertaining franchises in Indian cinema. Can’t wait for our hard work to light up the silver screen soon!!!”

Singham Again, the third entry in the Singham franchise, follows Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014). It is the fifth film in Shetty’s cop universe, following Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh, and Sooryavanshi, which stars Akshay Kumar.

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Arjun Kapoor, the film will feature Deepika Padukone as the first female cop in Shetty’s cop world. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff, among others.
