Aamir Khan reveals it took 14 years to make Laal Singh Chaddha, on his new podcast.

Aamir Khan recently launched his first podcast and spilled some on-screen and behind-the-scenes stories.

Today the ‘Dangal’ actor launched his first podcast ‘Laal Singh Chaddha ki Kahaaniyaan’ to promote his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. He also shared some behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the film in the podcast. In the podcast, Aamir Khan said that it took him 14 years to make his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha and that in the first few years they were after the copyrights of the film. He said, “In June-July, the film will complete 14 years, since we started it. It has been quite a journey. First few years, we were running behind the rights of the film.”

Aamir Khan also spoke about the song ‘Kahani’ which was released a few days ago. The actor said that he released a lyrical video of the song because people won’t listen to songs anymore. He said, “I wanted people to just listen to the song created by Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya. We have confidence in the singers that whatever they’ve created doesn’t need the film’s visuals. I wanted that everyone should listen to the song and experience it.”

Laal Singh Chaddha is gearing up to release on 11th August 2022. The movie is an official remake of the Tom Hanks starrer Forest Gump’ which itself is an adaptation of the book written by Winston Groom of the same name. Aamir Khan is sharing his screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh.
