Jihyo from TWICE is prepared to make her solo debut. After Nayeon, another member of the group, had her solo debut last year, fans have been excitedly awaiting her debut this year. On July 30, the singer released the tracklist for her first mini-album, ZONE.
The tracklist for Jihyo’s debut album, ZONE, was made public by JYP Entertainment on July 30. Jihyo’s surprising collaborations for this album were revealed through the tracklist. Among them are the singers Heize from Korea and the American rapper 24kGoldn. According to the tracklist reveal image, Jihyo appeared to have publicly opened her diary.
Six of the seven tracks on the album were written by Jihyo herself. She contributed to the majority of the songs’ composition as well. Each song contains a side note that provides a clue regarding the tune. Killin’ Me Good, the album’s title song, opens the playlist. Talking About It ft. 24kGoldn is the following song, and its spoiler stated, “We always gonna be the thing they talk about.” The fourth song is Wishing On You, “I want to be wishing on you,” while the third song is Closer, “Baby, me too.”
The TWICE leader made the decision to surprise her fans on 6 July at the band’s performance at New York’s MetLife Stadium by showing them the trailer for her debut mini album ZONE. Jihyo is shown riding a sports car and a bicycle in the entertaining film, which perfectly captures her sporty nature. Following the release of the first spoiler for her song Killin’ Me Good in two parts, the most recent one was released on July 30. The positive feeling from this second spoiler heightened fans’ interest. The ZONE album by Jihyo is slated to drop on August 18, 2023.
