Stray Kids are making waves again with their latest Hollywood venture! Their much-anticipated song, “SLASH,” for the Marvel blockbuster *Deadpool & Wolverine*, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has finally dropped.
This exciting track, released on July 23, marks a major milestone for the K-pop group as they enter the superhero arena. The song is the work of Stray Kids’ subunit 3RACHA—comprising Bangchan, Changbin, and Han—alongside renowned producer VERSACHOI. With its catchy beats and Korean lyrics, “SLASH” is already creating a buzz and bridging the gap between Hollywood and K-pop.
The release of the song comes on the heels of a thrilling moment when Bangchan and Felix met Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman during the actors’ promotional tour in Seoul. The meeting hinted at possible future collaborations and content, with Reynolds joking that Stray Kids might join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) someday.
The connection between Stray Kids and Reynolds goes back to 2021 when their Deadpool-inspired performance on *Kingdom: Legendary War* caught his eye, sparking an ongoing, playful interaction on social media.
In addition to their new song, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made a fun cameo in Stray Kids’ recent music video, “Chk Chk Boom,” from their 9th Korean EP *ATE*, released on July 19.
Fans are buzzing with excitement for the movie’s release on July 26 and the soundtrack’s launch on July 24. Directed by Shawn Levy, *Deadpool & Wolverine* features Reynolds and Jackman reprising their iconic roles, alongside Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.
Stray Kids are also on a roll with their recent activities. Fresh off their single “Lose My Breath” with Charlie Puth, they’ve just dropped their latest EP *ATE*. The group is gearing up for their dominATE world tour, kicking off in Seoul this August and continuing across Asia, Australia, and beyond.
