On August 7, 2024, the production team unveiled new promotional stills showing Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae. The images hint at the developing romantic tension between their characters, who start off disliking each other but slowly grow closer as the story progresses.
The plot revolves around Son Hae Yeong (played by Shin Min Ah), a woman who is fiercely determined to avoid any financial loss. When she faces a potential job promotion setback, she devises a plan involving a fake wedding and recruits Kim Ji Uk (played by Kim Young Dae), a kind-hearted convenience store cashier, to be her pretend fiancé. Despite their rocky start, Kim Ji Uk agrees to help, leading to unexpected twists and heartfelt moments as their fake relationship turns into something real.
In addition to Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae, the cast includes Lee Sang Yi, Han Ji Hyun, Jeon Hye Won, Lee Yoo Jin, Joo Min Kyung, and others. Directed and written by Kim Jung Shik, this romantic comedy is set to premiere on August 26, 2024, on the South Korean network tvN.
