‘Military Prosecutor Doberman,’ starring Jo Bo Ah, is an upcoming military court drama.

Jo Bo Ah talked about her character in ‘Military Prosecutor Doberman,’ how she adapted to the character, in a recent interview with Esquire magazine.

The plot follows two military prosecutors who came to the job for very different reasons but eventually teamed together to battle military corruption.

Do Bae Man portrayed by Ahn Bo Hyun is a jaded prosecutor who doesn’t give a damn about his profession and simply looks forward to the day when he can dump his military job. Cha Woo In, portrayed by Jo Bo Ah is the sole daughter of a powerful business family who seeks revenge by becoming a military prosecutor.

Jo Bo Ah characterised her transition into the character in ‘Military Prosecutor Doberman’ as “fierce and dark.”  She claims to be working to eradicate military corruption.

She went on to say that something in her character’s past sets her up to become a military prosecutor in order to take ‘revenge.’

She also added that “military language” had become a part of her “standard way of speaking.”

Jo Bo Ah also discussed she has always wished for her “male counterpart’s role” since they are “strong and capable” of protecting and rescuing the female leads every time.

When she observed it, she decided she wanted to “try and pull off a character” who could fight “independently and proactively”, as well as confidently “express their opinions.”

By taking an example of her short-span role from Tale of the nine-tailed, she also acknowledged her intent to portray the evil characters.
