Amidst the drama, it seems that the brands will have to part ways with the actress, with whom she has been connected for quite long. The timing of contract renewals seems odd as the reports have suggested that Nonghyup Bank has decided to part ways with the actress.
It must be noted that the contract has been ended before the controversy came to light, however, it has not been renewed. The actress has been endorsing the brand since 2021.
The reports have suggested that not only one but another brand deals have also come under scrutiny. Lotte Chilsung had contract with My Name actress which ended in March for Chum Churum, a soju brand. The contract was not renewed after a year, despite of the brand stating that her replacement has not been decided.
