Karthik Aaryan since his debut film ‘Pyaar ka Punchnama’ has been loved and adored by many across the country, But he has been a part of many controversies for quite some time. Last year, Kartik Aaryan reportedly exited the Dostana sequel due to his dispute with Karan Johar. He was supposed to star in the film alongside Janvi Kapoor and Lakshya. It was reported that the actor was removed from the film because of his “unprofessional behavior”. Now he talks about his issue with Karan Johar and his exit from the film.
When Kartik was asked if his differences with some industry people could cost him work, in an interview with Indian Express, he said “I just focus on my work. That’s all I would like to say on this. Look at my film line-up.” When asked about the rumours about a few industry insiders creating a lobby against him, Kartik said,” What happens, at times, is people make ‘baat ka batangad’. There is nothing more to it. No one has so much time to think so much. Everybody just wants to work, do good work. Other than that, things are just rumors.”
Last year while Dharma productions had announced the re-casting of the film, a statement was released saying that “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence – we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Souza. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”
