After Salaam Namaste and Tara Rum Pum, Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Anand will reunite in the action thriller with an unconfirmed title.
Siddharth Anand has directed five films, including the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone vehicle Fighter and the Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan showdown in Tiger versus Pathaan. He is also involved as a producer on three more films: Tiger Shroff’s Rambo, Sujoy Ghosh’s next project with SRK and Suhana Khan, and a Netflix direct-to-digital movie with Saif Ali Khan.
Marflix Production has cracked a good deal with Netflix. “Siddharth Anand is the man in demand after delivering War and Pathaan in a short period of time. His aim with Marflix is to create the biggest action films across the platforms and the yet untitled Saif Ali Khan is a step in that direction for the digital world. He has signed a good deal with Netflix as the film is sold to the digital player for a sum of Rs 60 crore,” revealed a source close to the development, adding further that the deal is struck in a way that is beneficial to all the stakeholders.
Saif Ali Khan is supposed to be in a race against time in the action movie, which is mission-focused. Robby Grewal, who helmed RAW’s John Abraham, will be in charge of directing it.
