The makers of Spy Classroom announced their 2nd season on Friday, which will premier in July. The statement was made by releasing a teaser and promotional video. The first season was aired on the 5th of January and continued until the 30th of March in Japan. As soon as it was launched, the anime was streamed by HIDIVE. It had 12 episodes in total.

Spy Classroom anime also precisely known as Spy Room is adapted from Takemachi’s light novel series and was illustrated by Tomari. The book’s first edition was published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko in January 2020. Till date, 8 volumes had been printed along with 3 short story instalments.
The anime depicts the story of after-war, wherein the nations realise that war fought with guns has created mass destruction and encountered the lives of many innocent people. Since then, the alliances fight the battle with spies and secret agents. Klaus, a fellow spy is given an impossible task, which hasn’t been accomplished even by the finest of spies.
The chances of victory for him seem very few. But here’s the catch, he has recruited seven completely inexperienced girls. Klaus has only one month to train each one of them thoroughly so that the mission gets successful. In return, the girls will have to learn every single trick and fight for their survival.
The cast includes Sora Amamiya as Lily, Aoi Yuki as Monika, Yuichiro Umehara as Klaus, Miku Ito as Grete, Nao Toyama as Sybilla, Sumire Uesaka as Thea, Ayane Sakura as Sara, Inori Minase as Erna and Tomori Kusunoki as Annette.
As per reports, the first season of Spy Classroom will be retelecasted by Tokyo MX from 19th April onwards.
