My Deer Friend Nokotan to premier on 7th of July; new key visual unveiled: Check out 

In the recent turn of events, REMOW announced the release othe much-awaited comedy anime series My Deer Friend Nokotan. REMOW, who is handling the distribution rights of the new anime show has recently released this news with a new key visual. The poster showcases the main cast.

My Deer Friend Nokotan will be premiering on the 7th of July in Asia and USA. The episodes for the same will be available to watch on Crunchyroll, Prime Video, Anime Onegai, ADN and through various affiliated networks in over 140 countries. More release dates relating to distinct areas will be released by REMOW, which claims that this is the “most widely available new anime of 2024.”


The upcoming anime is adapted from a famous manga series written by Oshioshio. The series was published by Kodansha and serialized in their Shonen Magazine Edge. It was published on the 15th of November, 2019. The manga has 5 volumes in total.

The comedy anime series has been directed by Masahiko Ohta. While the script work is done by Takashi Aoshima. The series is animated by Wit Studio, which is also renowned for his work in Attack on Titan and Spy X Family. For the Japanese audience, the show will be released on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. The opening theme song for the series is Shikairo Days.

REMOW describes the synopsis of the series as
Koshi Torako, a high schooler, one day feels something cold hit her face. Looking up, she spots a girl stuck, her antlers tangled in power lines. Helping Shikanoko, antlered and peculiar, turns Torako’s life, a model student by appearance only, upside down. Thus begins a tale of a girl (once a delinquent) and another (a deer?), in this Girl Meets Deer adventure!
