
My Hero Academia first premiered in 2016, and since then, it’s skyrocketed to become one of the most popular anime series today. With its array of unique characters, intense action scenes, and a fresh take on superhero stories, it’s easy to see why it’s so beloved.
The show centers on Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without any superpowers in a world where everyone has them. Despite this, he dreams of becoming a hero. His luck changes when Japan’s greatest hero, All Might, recognizes his potential and chooses him as his successor. This helps Izuku get into a prestigious hero academy where he meets many other students with their own special abilities.

Fans are currently enjoying Season 7, which is airing throughout Spring and Summer 2024. It’s set to cover a significant portion of the remaining manga storyline. Plus, the manga is expected to wrap up this year, making 2024 a big year for the series.
Additionally, the fourth movie, You’re Next, is scheduled for an August 2024 release and will take place between Seasons 6 and 7. Netflix is also working on a live-action adaptation of the manga. While details are sparse, it’s likely to be a separate story from the anime and not part of the official My Hero Academia canon.
