The favourably applauded manga series of Naoshi Arakawa will be publishing its last edition on the 12th of April 2023. The announcement was made by Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on wednesday.

Atwight Game’s first volume came on 28th September 2022. It is a fantasy-based manga. The plot is set in a trading city, Kunlong. It focuses on Marco, a boy who is rightfully a member of the ruling alliance. But he never seems to indulge in any unfair practices. His life takes a drastic turn when he encounters a girl, Atwight, who directly falls from the sky. The arrival of Atwight creates certain issues, not only in Marco’s life but in the entire city.

Arakawa is also the author of, Your Lie in April, which debuted in 2011 and ended in 2015. This particular manga was also adapted into a 22-episode anime version and was aired in 2014. Aniplex of America streamed the series on home video. A  live-action movie was also telecasted in 2016, inspired by the manga.

The author’s My Dear Cramer, which was positively approached by the people was also issued in 2016 and was last ended in  2020. It had 14 volumes in total. Kodansh Comics simultaneously released the digital and print version of the same. The anime adaption for the series was first broadcast in 2021.

Atwight Game’s 18th edition will be the climax of the manga. Readers appear to be disappointed with this news. It can be seen all over social media. They had commented that the final publication comprehends the end of a delusional era.
