Despite the massive popularity of KGF 2 and Kantara, Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie was named Best Kannada Film at the recently announced 69th National Film Awards.

The film, which follows the emotional interaction of a lonely man and his four-legged Labrador Retriever named Charlie, warmed the hearts of spectators across the country and around the world with its heartbreaking story.

The film, directed by Kiranraj K, stars Shetty and G.S Guptha.

This is a well-deserved victory.
