The Malayalam film industry was left in shock after the death of Kannan Pattambi, who passed away late Sunday night at the age of 62. Kannan Pattambi, known for his work as both an actor and a production controller, died while undergoing medical treatment in Kozhikode, Kerala.
Cause of Kannan Pattambi’s Death
As per reports, Kannan Pattambi died due to complications related to a kidney-related ailment. Despite medical care, his health deteriorated, and he passed away at around 11:40 PM on January 4.
Confirmation by Major Ravi
The news of Kannan Pattambi’s death was officially confirmed by his elder brother, filmmaker and actor Major Ravi. Major Ravi shared the heartbreaking update through a Facebook post written in Malayalam, informing the public about the timing of his brother’s passing and the funeral arrangements.
In his emotional message, Major Ravi referred to Kannan as his beloved younger brother and stated that the funeral would be held at their ancestral home in Njangattiri, Pattambi, later the same day.
