Gal Gadot has become fan favourite since the first Wonder Woman was released in 2017. Fans around the world have been waiting for the sequel as the story line becomes intense. Now, the official trailer of the most awaited sequel, Wonder Woman 1984 was released during the DC Fandome event. In this movie, Gal Gadot will be seen in a new Diana Prince avatar and will be fighting more than one villain.
The 2 minute 23 seconds trailer will take you to the world of Wonder Woman where she will be facing Pedro Pascal’s Max Lord and Kristen Wiig’s The Cheetah. The movie is set in 1980s where The Cheetah befriends Wonder Woman only to fight her later in the movie. Not just the trailer shows intense fighting scenes but also shows Wonder Woman using the Lasso of Truth in a new way. The movie also features Robin Wright as Antiope and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta in pivotal roles.

Pascal’s Maxwell remains mysterious throughout the trailer. One of the eye-catching part of the movie was Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. In the first movie, we saw him sacrificing his life for his lady love, Diana. The trailer suggests that he is alive and is still helping Diana fight the villains. Director Patty Jenkins earlier told the fans that the theory behind this will make sense in the movie.
Wonder Woman was first introduced in Superman Vs Batman in 2016, after which she got her own stand alone movie. Wonder Woman 1984 will release on 2nd October, 2020.
