On Friday, June 23, Wild ‘n Out host Nick Cannon and “baby mama” Alyssa Scott celebrated their son’s beautiful birthday. Zen died tragically at the age of five months in December 2021. Cannon posted images of himself standing on the beach with loved ones, with Zen’s name written in letters.
Zen Cannon, Nick Cannon’s late son, is being remembered. On what would have been his second birthday, “The Masked Signer” host, along with friends and family, organised a festival of lights memorial to honour his baby.
“A Difficult Day that turned into a Beautiful Night…We will forever celebrate Zen’s Light! I love you Son,” he captioned photos from the intimate moment.
The 42-year-old and model Alyssa Scott have two children together, Zen and Halo, a 6-month-old girl. The couple’s son died of brain cancer in December 2021, and on the anniversary of his death in 2022, Nick wrote a poignant tribute.
“I can’t believe it’s been a year already since the toughest day of my life occurred. Such a painful anniversary. Losing a child has to be the heaviest, most dark and depressive experiences that I will never get over,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
In December 2022, a year after Zen’s death, the couple welcomed daughter Halo, who resembles Zen.
