In the Marvel universe, a new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely grabbing attention. But on a different note, the idea of Elon Musk creating a flying Iron Man suit for himself and possibly Donald Trump? That’s a bit less thrilling.
It might sound like a plot twist from a sci-fi novel, but the ongoing friendship between Musk and Trump seems to be heating up. Musk has shown support for Trump in various ways, including a recent undisclosed donation to Trump’s super PAC for his presidential campaign.
Now, after an attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania, Musk has hinted on social media that building a suit of armor might be a good idea for protecting both himself and Trump. Musk has claimed he’s faced threats to his own safety, so it’s not out of the question that he’s seriously considering this high-tech protection for both of them.
While Musk hasn’t confirmed that he’s actually starting work on such a suit, the notion of him designing an armored suit is intriguing. It might not have the same sleek style as Tony Stark’s iconic Iron Man suit from the MCU, but given Musk’s resources, it could still be quite impressive.
So, while Deadpool & Wolverine may end up being a blockbuster hit, don’t be surprised if a potential Trump & Musk venture turns out to be a surprisingly big draw—though it’s unlikely to be as entertaining.
