The sixth season of Netflix’s popular martial arts dramedy Cobra Kai is being released in a unique way this year: in three separate parts. The first part, which consists of five episodes, is available now. Fans are eager to know when the next batch of episodes will arrive.

Cobra Kai continues the story from the classic movie The Karate Kid, but this time it’s told from Johnny’s point of view. Even though it started on YouTube Red/Premium, it quickly gained a huge following and made the jump to Netflix starting with season 3, where it has since become a hit.

When does ‘Cobra Kai’ season 6, part 2 release?

After a successful run of seasons 3, 4, and 5, the show had to pause production due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. But the show’s strong fanbase and critical praise for its storytelling, acting, action scenes, and humor meant that Cobra Kai was set to return. Season 6, which started production after the New Year, was ordered with 15 episodes.

As for the release schedule, Cobra Kai season 6 will be split into three parts, each with five episodes. The first part premiered on July 18, 2024, picking up the story where season 5 left off—with Silver facing arrest and the dojo being shut down. In this new season, fans can look forward to seeing how Miguel and Sam, as well as Robby and Tory, continue their relationships, while Kreese fakes his death and escapes from prison.

Originally, the second part of season 6 was set to drop four months after the first, on November 28, 2024. However, Netflix has moved up the release date to Friday, November 15, 2024, at 3am ET/12am PT. This change is a treat for devoted fans who’ve been eagerly waiting for more.

As for the third and final part of season 6, which was expected in early 2025—possibly late February or mid-March—there’s no exact release date yet. But fans are hopeful that the show will keep up its high standard of quality. So, don’t forget to mark your calendar for the release of part 2!
