Isn’t it amazing how there’s an anime for literally everything? Sports animes are particularly popular, but if you’d told me a month ago that I’d be eagerly awaiting the next season of a golf anime, I’d have probably laughed in your face. Yet here we are.
Rising Impact has already made quite the splash since its first season dropped on Netflix on June 22. The manga was a hit over 25 years ago, and now fans are falling in love with it all over again thanks to this fresh Netflix adaptation.
So far, we’ve got 12 episodes following Gaiwan Nanaumi, a young golf prodigy with dreams of becoming the world’s greatest player. Enrolled at Camelot Academy, Gaiwan meets a colorful cast of friends and rivals, each presenting stiff competition on his path to greatness. Of course, for all the binge-watchers out there, 12 episodes are light work, so many have likely already finished the first season and are eagerly awaiting the second.
Rising Impact season 2 release date
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long for their next fix. Netflix has announced that the second season of Rising Impact will be available on August 6, just a little over six weeks since the first season dropped.
The new season will pick up right where the first left off, and it’s likely we’ll see most, if not all, of the main cast returning to their roles. So, get ready to dive back into the world of Camelot Academy and cheer on Gaiwan Nanaumi as he continues his quest to become the greatest golfer in the world!
