Trina McGee, aged 54, has amassed an impressive career over decades, leaving an indelible mark through her roles in iconic projects such as “Boy Meets The World,” “Friday After Next,” and “Daylight.” Known for her exceptional acting skills, she has consistently captured the hearts of her fans.

Recently, McGee surprised everyone with the announcement of her fourth pregnancy, her first with husband Marcello Thedford. She already shares three children, Ramia, Langston, and Ezra, with her ex, Courland Davis. Speaking with People about her pregnancy journey, McGee expressed her awe and joy, describing the experience as nothing short of a miracle. “I just kept saying, ‘Is this really happening?’ I still do that. ‘Is this really happening?’ But it is,” she shared, recounting moments of sickness and other pregnancy-related quirks.

Reflecting on her previous pregnancies, McGee noted that this time feels more intentional and special. Despite having her other children during her thriving acting career, each pregnancy was a cherished experience. Her eldest daughter, Ramia, was with her during guest spots on shows like “A Different World,” while Langston arrived during her stints on “Martin” and “Sinbad.” Ezra joined the family during her time on “Boy Meets World.”

Currently 12 weeks pregnant, McGee revealed that she and her husband have opted not to know the baby’s gender. Embracing an indigenous African tradition, they plan to wait and name the child based on their perception of its inherent strength. McGee herself has been affectionately called “Kaway” by friends from Africa, which means Warrior, underscoring the importance of strength and identity in naming.

Humorously, McGee mentioned that for now, they playfully refer to the baby as “Sonny X,” a nod to her husband’s preference for a boy. As she navigates this new chapter with grace and excitement, McGee continues to celebrate the marvels of motherhood and the joy of welcoming new life into her family.
