CBS has ordered new installment for Tracker.
The Justin Hartley led drama, which was launched on February 11 post Super Bowl is currently the No. 1 show, as per the Nielsen’s most current data, with 16 million multiplatform viewers. According to the network, the series is the most watched series since the debut of The Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon in 2017-18 season.
The series, which was formerly known as The Never Game and is based on the best selling novel by Jeffery Deaver, Tracker was ordered to series in the late 2022 after CBS put the project, with Hartley attached to the star and exec produce, in development in late 2021.
Tracker has also been proved a hit for Disney, whose 20th Television produces the series as part of Hartley’s overall deal with the studio, behind the actor’s previous hit series This Is Us.
Tracker becomes the first series by CBS to be renewed for 2024-25 season.
