On Friday afternoon, Tom Holland and Zendaya, two Hollywood actors best recognised for their roles in the Marvel-Sony Spider-Man trilogy, touched down in Mumbai. As the two stars entered the Mumbai airport and stepped into their cars, paparazzi began to take pictures of them.
Tom and Zendaya are seen travelling to Mumbai together in images and videos posted on Friday afternoon by numerous paparazzi sources. Zendaya is seen following Tom in the video, who is dressed in a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans with a jacket and hat. Tom is wearing a pink t-shirt. The two celebrities can be seen leaving the airport and hurriedly into their vehicles. Why the two are in India has not been revealed till now.
Fans were confused at the real-life and screen couple’s sudden visit to India. “This is so random. What are they doing here,” asked one confused fan. Another wrote, “Are they on vacation here?” Many wondered if Tom and Zendaya were in India to be a part of some event. Many even wondered if they were here to scout locations for a rumoured destination wedding. “Tom and Zendaya arrived in Mumbai . Are they gonna do their destination wedding at Rajasthan,” read one comment.
The 25-year-olds Tom and Zendaya first worked together on Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2015, and they have since collaborated on several other movies in the franchise. They had indeed been known for a few years prior to 2021, when they started dating. Once photos of the celebrities sharing a kiss in a car were released, their connection was actually made public. In a later interview, Tom claimed that the exposure of their private lives and the accompanying photos violated their right to privacy.
Tom’s notable career also includes Uncharted in addition to his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Similar to this, Zendaya has starred in box office hits like Dune.
