The White Lotus season 3 starts production: Here’s everything you need to know

The White Lotus season 3 is checking in!

The series, created by Mike White, will be coming back for its third installment and it will be “longer, bigger, and crazier,” as described by the the creator himself.


The Emmy-winning social satire kicked off filming in Thailand in mid-February, sharing a stunning shot from their tropical set.

The show’s Instagram account shared the picturesque shot and wrote in the caption, “Unforgettable experiences are in the making at #TheWhiteLotus. We are eager to welcome our guests to our resort in Thailand.”

Similar to the first two seasons, the new season will take place at another one of the luxury hotel’s exotic locations, where a new group of guests and employees will find their lives clashing in unexpected ways.

Whom to expect in the star cast of The White Lotus season 3?

The show has added even more power to its already wildly talented star cast by bringing BLACKPINK’s Lisa. The singer’s acting debut has been confirmed by Entertainment Tonight, however, the details around her role has kept under wraps. The news were first reported by Variety.

Apart from Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manobal, the upcoming season will also see five new actors, which includes, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walter Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, and Aimee Lou Wood. Alongside Natasha Rothwell, who will be reprising her role as spa manager Belinda Lindsey, HBO had announced that Dom Heratkaul, Jason Issacs, Leslie Bibb, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan, and Tayme will be joining the series.
