Nina Dobrev, a Vampire Diaries actress, is currently recovering from a horrific bicycle accident. The singer shared a health update on Instagram, indicating that her recuperation will take a long time.
The 35-year-old actress shared before-and-after photos on Instagram on Monday, showing her being admitted to the hospital with a variety of diseases.
On Monday, she shared an Instagram photo of herself posing on a black motorbike. Following the first photo, another showed her on a hospital bed with an IV in her left arm, as well as a knee brace, a neck brace, and a patient gown.
She published a follow-up shot on Instagram Stories, but she did not reveal any other details about the incident. She shared the photographs on her Instagram stories and remarked, “I’m OK but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead. I think it’s safe to say my first time on a dirt bike will also be my last lol.”
Her co-stars from The Vampire Diaries wished her well in the comments section as soon as she posted the photographs.
Nina is well-known for her role as Elena Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries. She has also appeared in the films The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Flatliners, and XXX: Return of Xander Cage, among others.
The actress will next appear on the big screen in Reunion, a thriller about old high school pals who discover a murder. The film will be released on June 28.
