Star traitors and faithfuls are set to face off on in the UK in a celebrity version of smash hit format The Traitors, which is reportedly set to launch on BBC next year, according to Deadline.

Citing several sources, the outlet has learned that an agreement between Studio Lambert, which makes both U.K. and U.S. versions of The Traitors, and the BBC, which broadcasts it, is close. It has been expected that the first version featuring the celebs will go on floors next year and will be released later in 2025, by which time three seasons of the civilian version will have aired. It has also been reported that host Claudia Winkleman will present the celeb version.

The Traitors is a reality show, wherein the contestants live together and take part in challenges while seeking to unlock the traitors among their number. The U.S. and U.K versions of the show are being filmed back to back in a castle in Scotland. The producers might decide onto capitalize upon that model and film the celebs version before or after the schedule of these editions.

The latest season on U.S. version includes British celebrities including Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu and ex-politician John Bercow.
