The German wax museum, Panoptikum Hamburg presented the “Shape of You” singer Ed Sheeran’s wax statue earlier this week.
The wax replica is dressed in typical Ed Sheeran garb, with a black T-shirt, pants, red trainers and a guitar slung over its shoulders. It also sports the short beard and shaggy red hair that are Sheeran’s trademarks.
The Thinking Out Loud singer’s wax figure is the culmination of countless hours of labour and great attention to detail.
With his ginger hair, tattoos, blue eyes, trademark stack of bangles, and guitar, Grammy winner Ed, 32, does seem quite similar to this from a distance.
The wax figure of the singer-songwriter joins the statues of Angelina Jolie, Queen Elizabeth II, Karl Lagerfeld, and Henry VIII as well as other well-known people.
Sheeran, 32, visited the Tobin Community Centre in Boston earlier this month to perform with the young artists before later that evening headlining his own show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
