Jennifer Garner is back on Apple TV+ with her series The Last Thing He Told Me for a second season.

It has been confirmed by Entertainment Tonight that the show, the season one of which aired in spring 2023 and was originally labeled as limited series, will be returning for its second installment with Jennifer and stars including Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice, and David Morse set to reprise their roles.

Moreover, Reese Witherspoon and her Hello Sunshine production company are set to return as executive producers.

The series is an adaptation of Laura Dave’s novel, which goes by the same name. It chronicles around Jennifer’s character Hannah Hall, whose husband, played by Nikolaj, vanishes off one day without a trace, leaving her and their 16-year-old daughter, played by Angourie, behind. This sets the two of them on mission to find their husband and father, and along the way they discover some startling truths of what led to his disappearance.
