The fan accused of hurling a mobile at Bebe Rexha’s face during her performance at a Manhattan concert on Sunday apparently did so for his own fun.

“I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny,” accused phone-pelter Nicolas Malvagna said, according to a criminal complaint.

Malvagna, 27, was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment after his claimed stunt resulted in a black eye for the “I’m Good (Blue)” singer.

Rexha, 33, was performing on the Rooftop at Pier 17 when he allegedly threw the phone at her. According to authorities and images of her injury, the singer-songwriter was bleeding and bruised as a result of the violent toss.

She was whisked off the stage and taken to the hospital, where she was stitched up an open cut over her left eye.

An audience member captured video of the phone flying through the air and smacking the Staten Island-raised celebrity in the face, prompting her to recoil, grab her cheek, and collapse to the floor in anguish.

“She staggered around, fell down, and her people pulled her off the stage,” concert-goer Brian Good, 48, told The Washington Post of the “scary” incident.
