Marvel Studios probably trusted Ryan Reynolds to keep the biggest secrets of Deadpool & Wolverine under wraps, but he just let a major one slip on the red carpet at the film’s world premiere in New York City.

One of the biggest mysteries leading up to the movie’s release has been the identity of the actress playing Lady Deadpool, the female version of the anti-hero shown briefly in the trailers. Fans had speculated that either Taylor Swift or Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, might be portraying Wanda Wilson. However, thanks to Reynolds’ inadvertent reveal and Lively’s striking red carpet look, we might now know the answer.

At the premiere on July 22, Lively made a dramatic entrance in a figure-hugging red outfit with black accents and a high ponytail, which strongly resembled Lady Deadpool’s outfit from the movie. Reynolds couldn’t help but comment on how amazing his wife looked, jokingly saying, “Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert,” which all but confirmed that Lively is indeed Lady Deadpool.

While Reynolds and Lively didn’t exactly surprise us with this revelation—Lively had always been a top guess for the role—it’s worth noting that Marvel Studios might want to consider reviewing red carpet outfits in the future to avoid accidental spoilers. Given how tight-lipped Marvel usually is, don’t be surprised if Kevin Feige starts making wardrobe approvals part of their secret-keeping strategy.

Catch Lively as Lady Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, hitting theaters on July 26. Unless, of course, this is all part of a clever misdirection, and Taylor Swift is still the mystery actress. Marvel has been known for their twists and turns!
