The upcoming rom-com drama starring Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez is all set to premiere on the 11th of August on Amazon Prime Video. The first look of Red, White and Royal Blue has been released by the streaming platform and fans are gushing with excitement for the on-screen chemistry of both dazzling actors. The poster shows the lead stars sitting on a couch with their legs intertwined and what caught the most attention are the socks that resemble US and Britain flags, which gives us a glimpse as to how the film will begin.

The movie is inspired by Casey McQuiston’s bestselling novel of the same name and was initially published in 2019, which turned to gain a lot of appreciation from the audience. The plot revolves around Alex Claremont-Diaz, who is the first son of the United States and the British Prince Henry. At first, they pretend to make a fake friendship but later on, it turns into something more real as the course of events takes place. The couple will have to hide their relationship so as to not jeopardize their cordial family relations.
Mathew Lopez has directed the gay drama, which will also embark as his debutant film. Other cast members include Clifton Collins Jr, Stephen Fry, Rachel Hilson, Aneesh Seth, Ellie Bamber, Sharon D Clarke, Thomas Flynn, Polo Morin and Akshay Khanna.
