Porsha Williams has revealed quite a lot in her latest filing for divorce from Simon Guobadia. They were married for 15 months before the reality star filed for divorce. Ahead of the filing, the duo were posting photos of their vacation together. Of their split, fans were hoping that more would be explored about it in the season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The court documents, obtained by Radar Online, reveal the exact reason why she filed for the divorce.
The court documents reveal that Simon’s citizenship and his criminal record is the reason for the filing.
“The media frenzy that ensued was solely a result of Husband’s actions, which included revelations about Husband’s criminal history, questionable immigration, and allegations of fraud,” said the court documents.
The documents further added that the Porsha’s mental and emotional health was affected post learning the news reports of Simon’s immigration fraud, which can lead to deportation.
Porsha’s lawyer also claimed that Simon failed to share important facts about himself with his wife, noting that she did ask him about his immigration status before wedding.
