NCIS: Hawai’i cancelled by CBS after three seasons

NCIS: Hawai’i is bidding its fans a final aloha.

CBS has made a decision to cancel the island- based spinoff, as per the reports by PEOPLE. The procedural will air its season 3 finale, which will now be series finale, on Monday, May 6.

NCIS: Hawai’i was launched in 2021 and starred Vanessa Lachey, who made history as the franchise’s first female lead and took on the role of Jane Tennant, who was the head of fictional Naval Criminal Investigation Service at the Pearl Harbor Field Office.

Apart from Vanessa, the show also starred Alex Tarrant, Yasmine Al- Bustani, Tori Anderson, Noah Mills, Jason Antoon, and Kian Talan. During the third season of the show, LL COOL J reprised his role as NCIS: LA’s Sam Hanna.

Ahead of the premiere of the series in 2021, Vanessa took to her Instagram to share a rather emotional video owning to her historic casting. Alongside a teary video, wherein she passed on the message to her family and friends that she has landed the role, the Love Is Blind host opened up on how fateful call had “changed” her life forever.

Shortly after coming onboard for the show, she moved to the Aloha state, with her husband and three kids, since the show films on location.
