Pete Davidson once again found himself navigating questions about his high-profile dating history during his recent appearance on Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney. Comedian Luenell, also a guest on the Wednesday episode, steered the conversation toward Davidson’s romantic past, playfully questioning how he consistently attracted high-profile partners.
Luenell remarked that Davidson appeared to be an “average guy” yet managed to date some of the most well-known women in Hollywood. She specifically noted that while his dating history was widely discussed, she had not seen him with women of colour. Referring to his past relationships, including one with Kim Kardashian, she asked him to explain the “mystique” behind his appeal.
Davidson, 31, responded with laughter, briefly burying his face in his hands at the mention of Kardashian’s name. As Luenell jokingly suggested that he take her on a date for “research purposes,” the comedian awkwardly agreed, playing along with the bit. Mulaney attempted to shift the discussion, humorously offering the pair a gift card to a restaurant.
