Pete Davidson puts end to Bupkis despite of scoring a renewal for another season at Peacock.
As per the multiple media reports, Pete announced his surprise decision to end the comedy series Thursday, nearly a year after the streamer renewed Bupkis for second season. As for what made him take this decision, the 32-year-old Saturday Night Live star said, “this part of my life is finished” and he is ready for the next chapter.
“After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way. Of all the work I’ve done Bupkis is by far what I’m most proud of,” said Pete in a statement, as per Deadline. He also mentioned that he has always seen Bupkis as a window into his life, as it was personal about his struggles and family.
“I do also feel that this part of my life is finished. I’m very excited for this next chapter and for you guys to see the work,” he continued. The comedian concluded the note with gratitude and thanking everyone who supported him.
