Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton recently revealed what props they took from the set of their hit Netflix series Bridgerton

Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, stars of the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton,” recently shared insights into the props they took from the set after filming. Coughlan, who portrays Penelope Featherington/Lady Whistledown in the show, recounted her fondness for a particular antique vase that adorned her character’s room. Describing the vase as adorned with feathers, flowers, and gold birds, she mentioned that it was approximately 250 years old and caught her eye throughout filming.

On the last day of shooting, Coughlan approached the art department and requested if she could keep the vase. They kindly obliged, wrapping it up in a box for her along with a note, which she shared was a sentimental gesture from the production team.

Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton in the series, also expressed his desire to take home a prop — specifically, the ring his character wears on the show. However, a member of the production team intervened, explaining that the ring might still be needed for future seasons, so it remained with the production.

These revelations provide fans with a glimpse into the personal connections that the actors have developed with their characters and the show’s intricate details. The props not only hold sentimental value but also serve as mementos of their time portraying beloved roles in the highly acclaimed period drama.

As “Bridgerton” continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its romantic intrigue and lavish production design, these personal touches from the actors behind the characters further enrich the viewer experience, highlighting their dedication and appreciation for the series’ immersive world.
