Squid Game Season 2 plot details

The ending of Squid Game Season 1 set up plenty of possibilities for a follow-up, leaving fans wondering how the story would unfold in Season 2. In the first season, Gi-hun, the only survivor of the deadly games, seemed to be determined to dismantle the sinister organization behind Squid Game instead of returning to his normal life with his daughter. Given his past experiences, it’s hard to imagine him willingly stepping back into the deadly competition, even if he’s tempted by the enigmatic recruiter.

However, in a dystopian world like this, the organization might have other methods to force participation. For instance, they could use Gi-hun’s daughter as leverage to pull him back into the game. Additionally, with the supposed death of Il-nam, the game’s creator, it’s possible the new games could be even more brutal and unpredictable.

Furthermore, since Jun-ho is returning for Season 2, there’s a chance he survived his brother’s shot. It’s possible the Front Man’s intentions were not to kill Jun-ho but to rescue him instead, adding another layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama.
