Gabriel Guevara, an actor, was arrested during the Venice Film Festival. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actor was wanted on an international warrant for an alleged sexual assault in France. The actor is best recognised for his performance in Amazon Prime’s My Fault, Culpa Mia.

According to The Post Internazionale, Venice police have confirmed Gabriel’s detention. According to reports, the actor was scheduled to attend a press conference and an awards ceremony at the film festival. At the event, he was to be named Best Young Actor. Gabriel is well recognised for his roles in How to Screw it All Up (2022) and You’re Nothing Special, in addition to Spanish dramas and films.

On Sunday, September 2, the Venice Film Festival issued the following statement, “Following the news articles which have been emerging on various websites, regarding the Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara being arrested in Venice, the Biennale hereby clarifies that his presence in Venice was not linked to any events or productions related to the 80th Venice International Film Festival.​”

Guevara made his acting debut in ‘Skam,’ a Spanish translation of the Nordic teen series. He then appeared in the Paramount+ series “Bose.”
