The Met Gala 2024 red carpet is becoming more fascinating as superstars make appearances in eye-catching outfits. Meanwhile, Doja Cat’s unique, nearly-naked appearance has sparked widespread outrage online, and her wet garment has undoubtedly whipped the internet into a frenzy.

The American artist and rapper attended the event wearing a white bath towel. She also left the hotel to attend the event, wearing the towel, a headwrap, and a diamond necklace.

However, that was not all; she arrived at the event in a towel only to reveal her ‘real’ dress, which is a semi-transparent damp outfit. She posed in front of the cameramen, one arm on her chest and the other tugging up her clothing to keep from slipping on the floor. Her look also included tear-soaked makeup, black bold winged eyeliner, and nude ombre lipstick.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the Billboard Hot 100 Chart Topper expanded on how her drenched floor-length t-shirt dress aligned with the theme ‘The Garden of Time’. “I know that people are going to do flowers, but my flower of choice is the most-used flower – and it’s cotton,” she remarked.

“I wanted to do a white T-shirt, also because a white T-shirt is timeless. And it felt very poetic to choose this. I knew it wasn’t going to blend in too much, and I don’t really like to blend in,” she added.
