Machine Gun Kelly threw shade at his new film in a cryptic tweet; he skipped its premiere too

Machine Gun Kelly seems to have said “trash” his own film, “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” after skipping the premiere with her girlfriend, Megan Fox in a tweet.

On Friday, American rapper-songwriter Machine Gun Kelly in a comment talked about “trash” films, which appears to have avoided his own film, “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” days after he and his now-girlfriend Megan Fox skipped the premiere.

Taking it to Twitter, he tweeted, “if i don’t talk or tweet about a movie i’m barely in it’s because it’s [trash emoji]”. The ‘Bad Things’ singer tweeted Friday during the film’s release, which received a dismal 14 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

As per the reports of Fox News, Megan didn’t attend the event due to the “rise in Covid cases”, while it’s still not sure if Kelly skipped the premiere for the same cause.

For the unversed, MGK and Megan Fox reportedly began dating while filming the film, “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” In September 2020, Kelly told Howard Stern, “I didn’t know what [love] was until me and her made eye contact,” he further added, “That’s when I was like, ‘Whoa.’” Kelly also revealed that he’d stand on his trailer steps, hoping to see Fox and make eye contact.

As per the reports by Page Six, Megan’s absence during the event seems to have been noticed by Emmett’s fiancée, Lala Kent. Kent shared a picture from the event in which she stood covering Fox’s face and wrote “So excited for this!” over it.

Although Kent clarified her stance to USA Today and said, “My mother took the picture of a special moment in my fiancé’s life. In no way was it meant to shade anyone. I like Megan; she has been nothing but kind to me. I’m grateful she supported Randall in his directorial debut. I’m very proud of them both.”
