Are you keeping up with the Kardashians? No? Well, we are here with a spicy, hot update. Kim Kardashian, who is known for her flawless body and controversial content, recently made headlines when ex-husband and NBA player Kris Humphries penned an essay for The Player’s Tribune about his life with Kim and the crazy family.
Kris and Kim were married for 74 days in 2011 before they reached the decision of separation. During this time, Kris appeared in the family drama of “Keeping up with the Kardashian’. Little did he know that appearance on the show would be backlashed by the NBA and his image as a basketball player was tarnished. In the essay, he opened about his relationship with Kim and quoted, “brutal” and an “embarrassment” which unravelled immediately after they exchanged wedding vows.
In the essay Kris admitted: “I should have known what I was getting into. I was definitely naive about how much my life was going to change.”
Kim and Kris briefly dated for seven months before getting married and their whirlwind romance was all over the place. They got a dream wedding in kardashian style – Grand and Elite. But soon, after the marriage, Kris realised that it’s not for him.

Some people also claimed that it is fake and just for the sake of publicity. About this Kris Wrote, “The one thing that really bothers me is whenever people say my marriage was fake. There’s definitely a lot about that world that is not entirely real.
“But our actual relationship was 100% real. When it was clear that it wasn’t working… what can I say? It sucked.”
He revealed: “It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that, with your friends, with your family… but when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal.”
While Kris filed for divorce with Kim in December 2011, it actually took until June 2013 before the divorce was finalised.
