Kate Moss opens up on the reason behind her support to ex Johnny Depp during his trial with Amber Heard

Kate testified in the defamation trial between Johnny and Amber Heard earlier in May after Amber took her name to validate a point.

Actor Johnny Depp’s ex-wife and model Kate Moss, who dated him briefly in the 1990s, has opened up about why she stood by him during his recent defamation lawsuit with actor Amber Heard.
In a recent media interview, Kate also discussed how she had defended her friend, fashion designer John Galliano, who was convicted of anti-Semitic abuse in 2011.
Kate testified in the defamation trial between Johnny and Amber Heard earlier in May after Amber spoke about a time she worried her ex-husband would throw her sister down a staircase after Amber said that she remembered hearing “rumors” that Kate had been pushed down some steps by Johnny, and that Amber had smacked him to stop him from hurting her sister. Johnny’s counsel then introduced Kate as a rebuttal witness.
Talking about the matter, Kate said,
“I believe in truth, as well as fairness and justice. I know John Galliano is not a bad person; he had an alcohol problem, and people turned against him. When people drink, they are not themselves, and they say things they would never say if they were sober. I’m aware of the truth about Johnny. I’m pretty sure he never kicked me down the stairs. I had to tell the truth.”
