JoJo Siwa’s latest single, “Karma,” has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. Not only has it faced criticism over allegations of being copied from other artists, but it’s also gained a reputation for its bizarre and divisive content. Despite the negativity, JoJo seems to be taking it all in stride.

Recently, JoJo celebrated her new record for “the most disliked music video on YouTube by a female artist in 2024” with great enthusiasm. In a TikTok video, she excitedly shared the stats with her followers. She noted that while Ariana Grande’s “yes, and?” had 290,000 dislikes, Katy Perry’s “Woman’s World” had 330,000, and Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” had 350,000 dislikes, her own “Karma” video racked up a staggering 3.15 million dislikes!

Despite the massive number of dislikes, JoJo’s energy didn’t wane. In her TikTok caption, she wrote, “WHAT A DAY TO CELEBRATE. KARMA BROKE A RECORD. 900% MORE THAN 2ND PLACE. A WIN IS A WIN.” Her fans have flooded the comments, with many expressing support and admiration for her positive attitude. Comments range from praise for her resilience to playful suggestions that she should consider a career as a game show host.

While some fans are perplexed by the inclusion of other artists like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande on the list, there’s little disagreement about “Karma” claiming the top spot. Many comments express surprise and frustration over the dislikes for songs by artists they view more favorably.

Although “Karma” might not have achieved the kind of success JoJo might have hoped for, it’s certainly not lacking in attention. Siwa seems to be embracing her unusual accolade with a mix of humor and pride.
