Singer Jesy Nelson has shared an encouraging update on her high-risk twin pregnancy, revealing that the emergency surgery she recently underwent was successful. The Little Mix star, who is expecting identical twins with rapper Zion Foster, had earlier disclosed that her pregnancy was complicated by pre-stage twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a condition where both babies were dependent on a single placenta.

Nelson, 33, chose Mothering Sunday, March 30, to update fans via an Instagram video, stating that the TTTS had cleared up following the operation. She expressed gratitude for the medical team, describing them as “amazing” and acknowledging their role in the positive outcome.

Despite the success of the surgery, Nelson remains under hospital care due to concerns over her cervix, which she revealed is “very, very short,” putting her at risk of early labour. She explained that she would need to stay in the hospital for continued monitoring, hoping to reach a safer stage in her pregnancy.

Foster, 26, also appeared in the video, sharing his support and optimism. He announced that he would be participating in the London Marathon in April to raise funds for Twins Trust, an organisation dedicated to supporting families expecting twins and higher-order multiples. He described the initiative as his way of contributing, acknowledging the physical burden carried by Nelson.

The couple, who have been together for over three years, had previously spoken about the challenges they faced, with Nelson calling the experience both a blessing and an emotional journey. They continue to hope for a smooth remainder of the pregnancy.
