On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez launched her cocktail brand, “Delola Spritz.”
In an Instagram photo posted to her JLo page, Ben Affleck’s wife is seen savouring the alcoholic beverage on the rocks in a wine glass. Her new cocktail brand, “Delola,” will be available in shops, eateries, and bars starting in April. The cocktails are offered in three unique flavours: BELLA BERRY SPRITZ (berry, hibiscus, and premium vodka); PALOMA ROSA SPRITZ (grapefruit, elderflower, and premium tequila); and L’ORANGE SPRITZ (orange, passionfruit, and premium amaro).
She established the business to “launch unique, mixology-level, ready-to-enjoy cocktails designed for elegant, effortless entertaining as part of a thoughtful lifestyle.” She also added, “I love entertaining and to relax and unwind with friends, but I’ve never found a drink that was right for me.”
“I was in search of something that I could enjoy that fit the thoughtful way that I live my life,” Jennifer revealed, explaining that she decided to create the brand with the purpose of having a drink with “better taste and fewer calories than traditional cocktails.”
“Something easy, fun, fresh, and delicious.”
“I knew that if I was looking, others were too,” she explained, adding that she was inspired by the “effortlessly elegant lifestyle of the Italian coast.”
The gifted singer says “Lola” is her nickname among friends, and she wanted to tap into her “carefree, fun side” to develop the brand, making it more “authentic” to her personality. Fans of the performer also pointed out that the nickname stems from her prior engagement with Marc Anthony.
